The First Nassau Game Jam
The IntieGames/UNINASSAU partnership established an intense, focused production framework validated through rapid-development events known as Game Jams, which proved effective for skill-building and asset creation.
The 1st Nassau Game Jam took place on January 21, 2017, at the UNINASSAU labs in Lauro de Freitas. Although Game Jams typically run for 24–48 hours, students were able to produce publishable games on the Scirra platform in just 10 hours. This outcome exceeded the coordination's expectations and validated the rapid production methodology and the chosen development tools. One notable game from this event was “Bottle Cap Running” (Corrida de Tampinha).
